Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW)
The Institute for Collaborative Working (ICW) is recognised as the thought leaders and driving force behind the development of BS 11000 and was appointed as the first company to the BSI Associate Consultancy Programme for BS 11000.
The ICW (formerly PSL) was established in 1990 as a joint initiative between the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) now BIS (Department for Business Innovation and Skills) and the Confederation of British Industry (CBI). Initially funded by the DTI, the ICW is now self financing, operating as a Company Limited by Guarantee (not-for-profit).
The ICW's role is to help organisations, large and small, in both the public and private sectors, to build and develop effective competitive business relationships based upon a collaborative approach. The ICW provides practical guidance based on a wide portfolio of experience utilising knowledge from extensive relationships within the business, Government and academic arenas.
